About Fiona
I am an experienced ESL tutor with 10 years of teaching high school and college students. I strongly believe that English education can open doors to better academic and career opportunities. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with around 150–200 students from different learning backgrounds.
Many of my students have improved their communication skills and gained confidence in expressing their ideas in English. My teaching approach is practical and student-centred, using simple language, daily conversations, and real-life examples.
One of my proudest achievements is seeing students actively participate in class discussions without fear. I always encourage students to ask questions and learn at their own pace. My goal is to make English learning comfortable, meaningful, and effective for every student.

My ESL teaching approach is simple, structured, and effective. I focus on motivation, communication, creativity, and proper time management to help students learn comfortably.
Motivation is built by setting clear goals and providing positive feedback. Communication is practised regularly through speaking activities, listening exercises, and real-life conversations. I help students improve fluency step by step.
Creativity helps lessons stay interesting. I use creative tools such as storytelling, role play, and visual aids to support learning. Time management ensures lessons are organised and productive without pressure.
Besides ESL, I also teach spoken English, grammar fundamentals, vocabulary enhancement, pronunciation, professional communication, interview preparation, and basic writing skills. My aim is to help students use English confidently in daily and professional life.
