About Laura
I've love teaching all ages and abilities, and I'm very personable and accustomed to putting my pupils at ease. I have been a teacher for an online music school since 2020 so have adjusted my set up and teaching to suit online lessons. I also teach for a music service and privately during the week, and perform with a folk-rock band and brass band at weekends.

I teach classical as a base but also specialise in folk music. I am big on technique and I am good at breaking things down to help pupils produce the best sound possible. I teach reading but also encourage playing by ear. I can help prepare for exams or just learning more casually. In short, I realise everyone is different, so I offer a varied programme of learning which adapts to the individual pupil.
