About Elise
I am a passionate Singing tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching High School and College students. During this time, I have successfully guided more than 250 students in discovering and developing their unique voices. My teaching philosophy centres around personalised learning, where every student’s abilities, goals, and musical tastes shape our lessons. I focus on helping students build strong vocal techniques while encouraging creativity and confidence on stage.
I believe that learning singing should be a joyful experience. I combine structured practice with engaging exercises to improve pitch, rhythm, tone, and expression. My lessons also emphasise performance skills, helping students feel confident in solo and group settings. Over the years, my students have participated in competitions, recitals, and college performances, achieving recognition for their talent and hard work.
Apart from vocal training, I also integrate music theory, ear training, and stage presence into lessons, giving students a well-rounded musical foundation. I enjoy creating a supportive and positive environment where students feel comfortable experimenting with their voice and expressing themselves freely.
My goal as a tutor is not only to improve singing skills but also to instil confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music. Every lesson is tailored to motivate, challenge, and inspire students, making the learning journey enjoyable and rewarding.

I approach singing lessons with flexibility and attention to each student’s learning style. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I design lessons to suit your pace, strengths, and goals. Creativity is a cornerstone of my teaching—I encourage students to explore different vocal styles, try improvisation, and engage in exercises that make learning fun. Using diplomacy, I provide feedback gently and effectively, helping students improve without fear of judgement.
Beyond singing, I teach essential subjects that support vocal development, including music theory, sight-reading, ear training, diction, and breathing techniques. I also cover performance preparation, stage presence, and expressive interpretation of songs, helping students feel confident both in practice and on stage. My lessons blend technical training with emotional expression, allowing students to connect deeply with their music.
