About Robin
I have been teaching singing, beginner piano, and music theory to adults and children for five years, as well as leading choral workshops. My work is well-regarded regionally and nationally: I was part of a small team which was awarded the TES award for best independent state-school partnership last year for group singing project, MusicShare. I have a PGDip from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in Composition and several of my works have been performed at prestigious classical music festivals. I hold a distinction at ABRSM Grade 8 singing and have led several 1-1 students to successful outcomes in ABRSM singing, piano and theory exams.

My approach is flexible. I will talk to you about what skills you may already have and which you wish to build on, and design a mutually agreed approach bespoke to each student. I can help you or your child improve in many aspects of music-making; music starts in the mind and each mind is unique.
I will be delivering all sessions online via Zoom for the time being due to the pandemic.
