About Raymu

I’m Raymu, a professional singer, songwriter and international vocal coach, and Nigerian Idol Season 10 First Runner-Up.

With 8+ years of vocal coaching experience, I’ve worked with singers from different backgrounds and levels, helping them develop their voices in a practical, personalized way.

My lessons can help you work on:

• Vocal range and flexibility
• Breath control and support
• Pitch and vocal control
• Chest, mix and head voice
• Falsetto
• Vocal agility and runs
• Tone and resonance
• Singing with confidence
• Performance technique
• Preparing for recordings, auditions and live performances

I specialize particularly in contemporary styles including R&B, Pop, Afrobeats and Soul, while adapting lessons to your individual voice and goals.

You don’t need to be an experienced singer to start. Whether you’re a complete beginner, an intermediate singer looking to break through a plateau, or an experienced vocalist wanting to refine your technique, lessons are built around where you are now and where you want your voice to go.

My approach is practical. We identify what is limiting your voice, work through targeted exercises, and apply the technique directly to songs you actually want to sing.

About the lesson

Whether you are a beginner stepping up to sing for the first time or an active vocalist preparing for auditions, live shows, or studio sessions, my coaching is tailored to unlock the full potential of your voice safely and dynamic.

As an international vocalist and the First Runner-Up of Nigerian Idol (2025), I blend technical precision with real-world industry experience.

With over 8 years of professional performance and coaching, I help students bridge the gap between technical exercise and true artistic expression.

What You Will Gain in Our Lessons:
• Vocal Range Expansion: Safely hit high notes and connect your chest, mixed, and head voices without strain.
•Breath Support & Pitch Precision: Build a strong core foundation for effortless sustained notes and dynamic tone control.
•Vocal Agility & Technique: Master runs, riffs, phrasing, and smooth vocal transitions tailored to modern genres.
•Stage Presence & Mindset: Eliminate stage fright, build authentic delivery, and master mic technique for live or studio settings.
•Audition & Repertoire Prep: Learn how to select the right key, arrange songs to showcase your strengths, and captivate an audience.

Your first lesson is free, so we can assess your voice, discuss your goals and establish the best direction for your training.

Let’s build a voice that is stronger, more controlled and more confident.

I highly recommend Raymu as a vocal coach. I first reached out to him in 2024 after being selected to audition for Australian Idol. From the very beginning, he was professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. He promptly sent his coaching packages to me, arranged our sessions, and made the entire process easy. Our lessons were conducted over Zoom, and throughout every session he was patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my voice and provided practical techniques to help improve my singing. And also he still checks in from time to time, which shows how much he cares about his students and their growth. Raymu has a real passion for music and for helping others become better singers. If you’re looking for a dedicated, skilled, and encouraging vocal coach, I wholeheartedly recommend him. You’ll learn a lot from working with him.
