About Olivia
Hello!
I’m Olivia - a recorder player originally from London but currently studying for a Masters in Kraków, Poland. My musical upbringing was quite creative, so now I a lot of early music, but I also have strong interests in folk music, jazz, improvised music, etc. and it’s something I always try to bring through in my own playing!
I have performed across Europe - some of the better known venues have included Shakespeare’s Globe, Abbey Road Studios, the Barbican Centre… and hopefully many more to come;)

I did grades myself growing up, so I am very happy to work towards grades if that works for you - but much of my musical upbringing was also very creative, so I thoroughly enjoy making music by improvising, or by writing my own music - and I’d be very happy to work on some of the more creative stuff with you too!
I’m happy to work around you for lesson lengths - I’m pretty flexible but I regularly do anywhere between 20-60 minutes for online lessons, depending on age and your preference!
I have taught privately for many years, both individuals and groups. I also have lots of experience running workshops, which has taken me across Europe with my volunteering work, for example to refugee camps and squats in Greece, where I co-led music workshops for refugee children and adults.
I am happy to teach all ages!
