About Elisabeta
Based in Cyprus, American-Romanian Mezzo-Soprano, Elisabeta Racolta, is an international soloist renowned for her diverse repertoire and vocal versatility. Since 2017, she taught privately and through numerous teaching programs across the United States, and internationally. Her vocal repertoire, spanning the 16th to 21st centuries, includes operas, cantatas, oratorio, folk, Zarzuela and art songs in many languages.
She is also an avid performer of Eastern European and rare works that showcase her passion for her heritage and underrepresented music. While trained in classical voice, she remains versatile in musical theater, folk, sacred music, pop, rock and jazz genres.
Starting in 2017, she began as a volunteer voice and music theory teacher at the Ladyville Liberty Home for Children in Belize. In 2020, she opened her private studio for remote students; giving them an opportunity to perform online and share their music, despite the pandemic. In 2021, she continued to grow her personal studio and provided lessons in person, and online in classical, pop, jazz and folk. From early 2023, she began teaching at Austin Music Academy for lessons in vocal health, classical, folk, pop and rock music from beginners to experienced students in choirs or solo acts.
Since 2025, she began teaching at the American International School, teaching piano, theory, and voice. Her students, ranging from beginner to advanced, continue to perform in local shows, and explore different genres in the music realm.
Her private studio continues to grow, with all ages and different levels of experience, giving students the opportunity to grow, perform, and giving her studio the notoriety of students showcasing a variety of styles.

Her philosophy is straightforward. Regardless of the genre, students must be able to play or sing with healthy, proper technique that will provide longevity, ease, and joy into performing. She also continues to offer masterclasses in audition preparation, Alexander Technique, stage movement, and song interpretation.
