About Krittika
I am a professional Odissi Dancer interested in teaching this dance through modern techniques. I have submitted my PhD in Performance Studies at JNU, New Delhi and am a post-graduate of English Literature. I am also a professional singer and founding-member of the band 'Baudhkaro'.

I am a Visharad Pratham in Odissi. I have learnt the Guru Kelucharan Mohaptra style of Odissi from Guru Debi Basu (Mumbai) and Guru Kumkum Lal (Delhi) and use both their methods to teach. I see dance as a way of keeping fit both mentally and physically and try to inculcate that philosophy in my students.

A beautiful and brilliant dancer who's trained herself since her childhood, Krittika is one of the best emerging Odissi dancers in India.
One should learn the style that Krittika owns for her art is honed by great Odissi dancer and her Guru Debi Basu.
Being a PhD she is also aware of the subtleties of the artform which makes her classes more nuanced.

Group classes (of minimum 3 people) can be taken for a monthly fees of 1500/8 classes. I do not consider age or gender to be a barrier for learning dance.
