About Beverley

Hello! I'm Bev, an experienced English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher with experience teaching learners from around the world. I hold a BA (Hons) in English, a Postgraduate Certificate in Research, and I'm currently completing a Master's in Psychology at the University of Exeter.

As a native British English speaker, I taught English in China, where I worked with learners of different ages, abilities and language levels. Since returning to the UK, I've continued to support students through tutoring, mentoring and education, helping people build both their English skills and their confidence.

Whether you're learning English for work, study, travel, business communication or everyday life, I understand that every learner has different goals. My aim is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you feel comfortable practising and making progress.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to your individual goals and current level of English. Whether you're preparing for IELTS or TOEFL, improving your professional English, getting ready to study abroad, or simply building confidence in everyday conversations, we'll create a learning plan that's right for you.

My lessons are interactive, practical and focused on helping you communicate confidently in real-life situations. We'll develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills while improving your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in a way that's engaging and relevant to your needs.

I teach learners from beginner (A1) through to advanced (C2) level and enjoy working with students from different countries and cultural backgrounds. Whether your goal is to pass an exam, study overseas, communicate confidently at work or simply enjoy speaking English more fluently, I'll help you achieve it.
