About the lesson

Hi there,
I'm a recent arrival in Nancy.I' moved from Bordeaux to teach Literature at the Sigisbert high school in the OIB section. I am Agrege (2008) and I also have a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Sussex (UK). I spent five years in England working in private schools and one-on-one. I've given private lessons from my years of prepa (HAL and KAL at Lycée Montaigne in Bordeaux) at different levels. I usually try to cover four activities (listening, reading, speaking and writing) during a lesson but often students have specific questions that eventually shape its course. It's better this way I think as I don't believe everyone learns the same way. For adult courses or high levels, I usually use cultural supports (poetry, novels, philosophy and cinema mainly ) but I always keep translation exercises. However for specific purposes (Science Po and Schools of Commerce, for example) supports are mostly political and economic.

Perfect! J'ai fait appel à Vincent pour accompagner ma fille qui envisageait d'intégrer une section OIB britannique ou américaine en seconde. Vincent lui a fait découvrir la littérature anglophone et sa méthodologie. Cela a conforté notre fille dans son souhait d'orientation. La qualité des cours de Vincent lui a également permis de progresser et d'être reçue à l'ensemble des OIB auxquelles elle a postulé. Merci Vincent, c'était parfait !
