About Malena
I am a professional musician with seven years’ teaching experience. I hold a diploma in violin and music theory from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, as well as two further qualifications in classical singing from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (Bachelor’s degree) and the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (Master’s degree).
My career spans 30 years of musical training. I perform professionally on stages across Europe (opera, symphonic and oratorio repertoire), which is why I am not always able to teach at the same times.
I'm also on my way to becoming a Somatic Therapist and I include some of these elements in my teaching.

I am a professional opera singer and teach young adults (aged 16 and over) and adults vocal technique – regardless of musical style. At the moment I'm teaching at a Music institution and On-line.
My main aim is to help you discover, understand and ultimately master your instrument. This journey involves developing your body awareness, breath control, aural skills, musicality and, above all, good vocal technique.
I teach all styles and levels, applying the same principles from my own training and performance experience to ensure that your voice remains healthy and is well looked after throughout the learning process.
Whether you’ve never sung before, only sing for fun, are a singing student or a professional singer, I can help you develop your voice and understanding of the neuropaths/muscle memory connection that singing implies.
Depending on your personal preferences, I can also teach you how to read music. I teach in English, Spanish, Italian, French and German.
