Hello, I'm Victor, a professional clarinetist, music educator, and orchestral musician with many years of performance and teaching experience.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with specialization in Clarinet and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Music.

I teach students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advancing players looking to improve their technique, tone, musical expression, and confidence.

My lessons are practical, structured, and designed to help students make consistent progress while enjoying the learning process.

When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?
I first developed a passion for music at age 15, and my first and favourite instrument at that time was the clarinet.
Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?
Classical Music, Mozart's Clarinet concerto, 2nd movement (Adagio) and then several Gospel music.
Explain to us the most difficult or riveting course you could personally give to a student of music.
The most difficult course would be composition.
What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?
The most difficult instrument to master would be the oboe, and the main reason is the technicality of playing it due to its tiny reed.
What are your keys to success?
According to me, it is a consistent practice, structured daily/weekly practice, dedication, and commitment to practice, be intentional about improving and working towards it.
Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.
I would say Gustavo Dudamel, Artie Shaw and Emma Johnson. I would love to meet them because they are great musicians and they inspire me.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.
I later learnt to play the Oboe as well. I faced many challenges while doing so; the main one was achieving high-quality sound. There was a joke that it's impossible for for 2 oboes to tune to each other, but guess who often tunes the entire orchestra? It's the Oboe.
