About Chef Anna
For 18 years, I've been a professional chef in South Africa, but my journey is a little different—I'm entirely self-taught. This hands-on experience has given me a true passion for a wide range of international cuisines, and I've developed a deep understanding of what it takes to create incredible food. After years in the kitchen, I've discovered a new love: teaching. Now, I inspire both kids and adults to cook by showing them how to trust their instincts in the kitchen. I've found immense joy in sharing the skills I've learned, helping others feel confident and creative as they explore the art of cooking.

I am Chef Anna, a self-taught intuitive chef who loves to inspire home cooks to enjoy their kitchen. My lessons are fun, practical and informative and I can teach you to whip up an amazing dish with the ingredients and equipment you have on-hand. I teach in a creative way that makes sense to beginners to intermediary cooks. I have a hands-on approach that eliminates you having to make notes. For me it is important that you fall in love with what you learn, which automatically will create a long-lasting memorable experience. I am passionate about dishes from global cuisines and the options are just endless. The vibrant colors of fresh ingredients simply make me tick and I would love to show you the many ways it can be used to include amazing meals into your life. I teach in both English & Afrikaans. How it works: You select a dish you want to learn. I send you the ingredient list to get ready. I guide you via Google Meet from start to finish.
