About Ekaterina
A winner of numerous national and international awards, Ekaterina Solomennik is a teacher; solo,
ensemble and orchestra performer. She made her concerto debut in 2007 and since that
time she has performed in numerous concert halls across Russia and UK. Ekaterina graduated Royal College of Music in 2019 ( Artist Diploma program - Higher master - with Raphael Wallfisch).
She was awarded distinction for her Bachelor of Music degree at the College of Music
(Russia), and for her Master of Music from the
Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory. Ekaterina has performed at some of the Russia
leading music and orchestra festivals. Moreover, she took part in different Youth orchestras,
one of them was Ungdomssymfonikerne Youth Orchestra (Elverum, Norway). Other
collaborative projects she is playing in include the String Quartet, which was established in
2018, and a participation in different Chamber and symphony Orchestra concerts.
She is an experienced teacher and she has been teaching since 2009. She taught students in College of Music and Music Schools In Russia.
Moreover, she held children music classes and worked in the Old Oak Center in 2018. Also she teaches privetly, she is very friendly and patient teacher!
