I believe as a music teacher it is important to recognise that I don’t teach you how to play - you teach yourself. I simply guide you in the direction you would like to go. As such, to get the most out of lessons you will need practice time at home to ensure a strong grasp of the musical/creative concepts spoken about in lessons. Curiosity and the desire to create and experiment with sounds are key.
