About Nikita

I have a huge experience in the world of CG working on big projects across the world. I feel like it is one of the most fascinating professions you could have and more and more people are starting to learn 3D every year. But it's difficult to know where to start. So for the last 3 years I've been sharing my knowledge with students and teaching them about industry and all the caveats that might wait for them. So if you are just starting out and look not only for a teacher that tells you what button to press but also goes deeper, then I will be glad to help

About the lesson

Hello, nice to meet you and here is my portfolio (concealed information) I'm a professional 3D artist who worked on films and series (Netflix projects) game cinematics (Square Enix) commercials etc. Have a BFA and 3 years of experience teaching students, adults and kids. - I rely on personalised approach to my lessons. The world of 3D is huge and everyone's needs are different, so I adjust the lessons depending on your level, needs and goals. - The typical length of the lessons would be 1 - 1.5 hours. Ideally 2 times a week. That way you won't get tired from listening to all the new information and have enough time for practice. - The typical plan for a complete beginner would follow the standard VFX/Game pipeline. Idea/Concept art (you don't need drawing skills) Reference search. Zbrush sculpt- Maya modelling- Substance Painter texturing. Then depending on what you want we would go to Unreal Engine or Render Engine of your choice for lighting, shading and animation. - Suitable for all levels and kids from 10-11 years old. - System requirements for your machine- NVIDIA GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 (analogous cards are fine as well) 32GB of RAM and some free space on your drive. These are not essential, most modern software is optimised to run on low-end machines, but the beefier yours is, the better If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask
