About Ari
Hi! I’m Arielle Grant — a Visual Communications Designer, artist, and educator-in-progress based in Atlanta, originally from Florida. I specialize in transforming complex ideas into clear, compelling visual storytelling. With a background in graphic communications and current graduate work in art education, I balance intentional thinking with intuitive, human-centered creativity.
Outside of credentials, I bring my full self into both my art and my teaching. I’m a twin, a cat mom, beach-loving, neurodivergent creative who believes in good vibes and meaningful work. My studio environment is laid back and welcoming — students can expect music to match the energy, space for independence, and support for body-doubling or working quietly alongside each other.
My approach is inspired by the calm guidance of Bob Ross and the fearless creative freedom of Basquiat. I value autonomy, self-awareness, and going against the grain when it leads to more authentic work. While I’m formally trained, many of my most effective techniques come from learning through experimentation — making, reflecting, and refining in real time.
At the core of everything I do is this: I make art that feels right, and I help others do the same — confidently, intentionally, and in their own way.

My lessons are designed as collaborative, exploratory studio experiences rather than rigid, traditional instruction. I teach by creating alongside my students—modeling process, curiosity, and creative risk-taking in real time. I introduce and guide students through a variety of art techniques and mediums, helping them build both technical skill and creative confidence. Beyond technique, I support students in developing their own art style, building a personal brand, and navigating creative blocks with intention and clarity. Whether through guided projects or open studio formats, I emphasize experimentation, reflection, and personal voice over perfection or formulas. My goal is not just to teach art, but to cultivate independent, thoughtful creators who feel empowered both in and beyond the studio.
