About Vivienne
I am a professional artist, art historian, and experienced art tutor with a background in fine art, sculpture, drawing, painting, illustration, fashion design, and museum studies. I graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a degree in Sculpture and a minor in Fashion Design and Illustration, pursued graduate studies in Art History at Boston University, and earned a Museology certificate from Harvard University.
I work with children, teens, and adults at a range of skill levels, from beginners building foundational techniques to students preparing competitive portfolios for art school and college admissions. My teaching approach combines technical instruction, creative experimentation, art history, and individualized mentorship.
My goal is not simply to teach students how to draw or paint, but to help them develop confidence, stronger observational skills, and an individual visual language. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests, goals, learning style, and artistic strengths.
