About Samuel
I have been a professional actor for over ten years and along side my theatre/TV work, I have been a simulated patient working across the UK both face to face and online in both classroom and exam environments.
My experience is working with medical and veterinary students. I am trained in the calgary cambridge method but have experience working with a wide variety of schools across the UK both online and face to face.
I love supporting professionals unlock their communication potentials which I believe ultimately improves their practice. If you have a good rapport with your work you are half way there.

Over our sessions we will play out a variety of scenarios you might find in a OSCE, SCA OR CASC or any other communication skills exams.
Scenarios are tailored to what you would like to explore, from GP, Psychiatry, Death and Dying, Paediatric, Sexual Health and Beyond.
I will present feedback in role as the patient and then out of role to fine tune your technique.
We will explore rapport, active listening, picking up cues, Ideas, Concerns and Expectations, eye contact all skills which will boost confidence in interacting with a simulated patient.
I aim to make sessions fun and create safe space to grow to learn. Having a one to one session will really give to focus to you, allow you to ask questions, try new things and develop your communication skills.
