Welcome! I'm Christos, a professionally trained actor, director, and certified LAMDA teacher with over two decades of experience in theater, media, and education. My journey began with a First Class Honors degree in Theater and Media Drama from the University of South Wales, followed by a Master's degree in Ancient Greek Performance from Royal Holloway, University of London. My professional acting career has taken me to prestigious venues including the Edinburgh Festival, where I performed in internationally acclaimed productions, and stages across the UK and Greece. As a working actor and director, I understand the real challenges performers face and the skills needed to succeed in today's competitive industry. What truly sets me apart is my comprehensive training in teaching methodology. I'm a certified LAMDA examinations teacher through Lighthouse Teacher Training, with CPD accreditation across multiple disciplines including Acting, Speaking Verse & Prose, and Musical Theatre. This specialized qualification ensures I deliver structured, progressive lessons that meet international standards. As a LAMDA Exams Training-certified teacher with Royal Holloway training and professional theatre experience, I blend academic rigor with practical industry knowledge. My approach combines traditional and contemporary drama school techniques with modern online learning methods, ensuring each student develops confidence, technical skills, and authentic performance abilities.
Teaching Techniques:
Structured warm-ups focusing on voice, movement, and emotional preparation
Scene work using classical and contemporary texts
Improvisation exercises to develop spontaneity and creativity
Accent and dialect training using phonetic techniques and audio modeling
LAMDA exam preparation with grade-specific curriculum and assessment criteria

Typical Online Lesson Structure:
Each 50-60 minute session includes: physical and vocal warm-up (10 mins), technique work focusing on specific skills like voice projection or character development (20 mins), scene work or monologue practice (20 mins), and feedback/goal setting (10 mins). Lessons are tailored to individual needs and goals.
