About Shire
I am a saxophone student at the Royal Northern College of Music and a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, where I studied with internationally recognised saxophonists. I have experience teaching beginner to intermediate players and have also worked as a teaching aide in non-music settings. With this background, I offer a strong, fundamentals-based course tailored to each student’s learning style.

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation through clear, supportive instruction in the fundamentals of the saxophone. As students gain confidence, lessons expand to different musical styles based on their interests and goals. Each lesson is individually tailored, whether preparing for ABRSM exams or playing for enjoyment at home.
