About Büşra

After graduating from high school in the language department, I won Marmara University English Language Teaching, which is one of the best universities in its field. Thanks to the techniques I got from my department during my student years, I gave private lessons to many students. Apart from that, I have been in many European countries with Erasmus + projects and made presentations according to the subject of our project. I am currently working as a lecturer in the English Preparatory Department at a private university in Istanbul. In my class where I teach, more than half of my students are foreigners, so I gain great experiences thanks to both my Turkish students and foreign students. Some of the courses we took in Marmara University English Language Teaching Department; English Language Teaching Methods First-Second Language Acquisition English Teachers' Presentation Skills Material Design in English Language Teaching Methods Teaching English to Young Learners Teaching Language Skills School Experience in English Language Teaching I would like to explain why I ranked a few of the courses I took. Everyone can learn and know English, but not everyone can teach English (as not every Turk can teach Turkish). During my university life (4 years), I received an education focused entirely on 'teaching' language. How do you teach a language, specific skills in the language (speaking, reading, listening, writing) how to teach, how to prepare appropriate material in a course, children are taught the language to adults and eventually to put into practice our relevant knowledge in one of Turkey's best private schools, a I did an internship throughout the year. I successfully graduated from my university in the form of lecture observations and lectures. As I mentioned before, I work as a lecturer in the English Preparatory Department at a private university in line with the trainings I have received. I also have 2 private tutor students that I teach regularly. I want to talk about the material we will use with you. We will use the books of the 'Oxford' publication, one of the best publications for teaching English in the world. We will choose one of these levels suitable for your level (A1-A2-B1-B2) and proceed with it. With this book, you will have the chance to learn by blending all language skills instead of just focusing on grammar (grammar). Language is not learned just by memorizing grammar rules.

About the lesson

We will cover our lessons for 40 minutes per hour on Zoom application. During the lesson, we will try to keep Turkish at a minimum and use English as our language of communication. Thus, we will overcome the idea of "I understand but cannot speak", which is the biggest problem in our country, at the very beginning. (Oxford publications will be used)
