About Maxine
Hello I'm Maxine! I graduated with a Mass Communication Degree, hence my love for English. Currently working in the Finance Industry, and as a prior Childcare Educator, I help children from K1 to P6 students in their Math and English homework. I believe in creating a positive and calm learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated. I take pride in maintaining professionalism—clear communication, punctuality, and tailored support—so students and parents can trust in a productive learning journey. My approach has always been hands-on, interactive and student-centered, with games and visual aids to make learning fun! Lessons typically last 45 minutes to an hour, keeping young learners focused. With experience tutoring K1-P6 students in homework and core subjects, I specialise in teaching kids aged 5–9, helping them build confidence and strong foundations in a supportive way.
