About Karen
I have a real passion for tutoring, coaching and mentoring. My sessions are tailored to the individual and take in to account learning style, the pupil’s mindset and purpose of the sessions. Every pupil is unique and I consider these elements when teaching. I can adapt our sessions as required to get the very best out of each and every session.
I offer sessions both online and face to face in locations in and around the Petersfield area.
I have particular interest in helping primary school aged children; whether it is to help them to grasp some tricky concepts, become KS1 or KS2 ready, or ‘catch up’ after an extended period of time away from school. I am also happy to work collaboratively with home-schooled children. And at all times, I assist the children to learn to love learning. I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
I also have a specialism in TEFL and have helped non-native speaking pupils from school age to retirees. With a former background in high level business I am also happy to tutor pupils in business English also (written and spoken).
