About Tracey
I previously held the role of Special Education Needs Coordinator working with pupils aged 11-15. I worked with whole classes, small group or in one-to-one sessions with main stream pupils and those with Special Educational Needs.
I have experience Preparing and delivering lessons to fit a child specific needs and during my tenure as SENCo my department held and maintained an Outstanding Ofsted Report.
My work with these students were in a variety of subjects and were always altered and made specific to a child's current level.

Back to Basics. I believe that somewhere down the learning line that a link may have been missed and that by going back beyond their present ability builds confidence to approach the more difficult learning that they currently struggle with. This scaffolding approach has been tried, tested and proven to work. I have previously taken a child from a reading and spelling age of less than 5 years to 9 years within a 6 month period. I specialise in basic English, Literacy and Handwriting. Old fashioned lessons are the best.
