About Elena
I am an experienced flute tutor with 18 years of teaching experience. I work with school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn flute for academic, personal, or professional reasons. My lessons are designed to make learning enjoyable while building confidence and musical skills.
I believe every student deserves personal attention. My teaching style combines communication, motivation, creativity, and practical learning. I adjust every lesson according to the student's level and learning style so they can progress comfortably.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm practice, ear training, breath management, beginner keyboard, sight reading, and performance preparation. Learning these related subjects helps students become confident and well-rounded musicians.
I focus on building strong fundamentals including posture, breathing, finger placement, rhythm, tone quality, and musical expression. I also encourage students to develop discipline through regular practice while keeping lessons interesting and enjoyable.
My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing students gain confidence and perform successfully. I believe music develops creativity, concentration, patience, and self-expression. My goal is to guide every student toward becoming an independent and confident flute player who enjoys learning throughout life.

I believe that every student learns best in a positive and encouraging environment. My teaching methodology is based on Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I focus on helping students build confidence while developing strong flute-playing skills through structured lessons and regular practice.
I begin by teaching the basics, including breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger placement, and tone production. Once students are comfortable with these fundamentals, I introduce scales, rhythm exercises, note reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, and performance skills. Every lesson is planned to match the student's learning speed and musical goals.
Communication helps me explain techniques clearly while encouraging students to ask questions and express their ideas. Accountability teaches students the value of consistent practice, responsibility, and commitment. Integrity allows me to teach with honesty, patience, fairness, and respect, creating a supportive atmosphere where students feel motivated to improve.
Besides flute, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, Staff Notation, Rhythm Training, Breath Control, Performance Skills, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, and Practice Techniques. These supporting subjects strengthen musical knowledge and improve overall performance.
My goal is to help students become confident, expressive, and disciplined musicians who enjoy learning and continue growing through music.
