About Mariam

I am an 8+ year qualified Architect in the UK, I have worked on numerous design practices in London, ranging from small to large size. I have also worked on all RIBA design stages so understand the entire built process.
In saying that, at the heart of my design philosophy is the relationship between people and place. I believe that successful architecture begins with an understanding of how people live, move, interact and experience their surroundings. The everyday patterns, behaviours and connections that define human experience offer valuable insight into how spaces should be conceived and developed.

Ultimately, I see architecture as an opportunity to translate these observations into spaces that are not only functional and considered, but that enrich the experiences of those who inhabit them. It is through this relationship between people, context and space that architecture can achieve its greatest significance.

Being a Project Architect and BIM & Design Systems Coordinator I use Revit regularly and have trained members of the studio and helped troubleshoot Revit issues.

I’ve put together this 6-hour practical crash course for anyone who has used Revit, or is just starting out, but wants to understand it properly and learn the main basics!

We’ll cover things like:

- Setting up and navigating a Revit project
- Levels, grids and building elements
- Views, sections, elevations and sheets
- Families and annotations
- Model organisation and visibility
- Practical architectural workflows
- Common Revit problems and how to troubleshoot them
- Tips and shortcuts to help you work more efficiently
- The course can also be tailored to you
