About Caela
My interest in piano began when I first explored melodies on a keyboard during my early music education. The ability to create expressive music through simple finger movements inspired me to study the instrument more seriously. This passion eventually led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance.
Over the past 10 years, I have taught students with different musical goals and experience levels. Some learners begin with no prior knowledge, while others want to improve their technique and musical understanding. I believe every student benefits from lessons that combine clear explanation with patient guidance.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano and exploring different musical compositions. These activities help me stay connected to the instrument and improve my teaching approach. Helping students grow into confident musicians and enjoy playing piano is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

My piano lessons focus on helping students build a strong foundation in music while enjoying the process of learning. Beginners start by learning the layout of the keyboard, proper hand position, and basic rhythm patterns. I guide students through simple note reading exercises and short musical pieces that develop coordination between both hands. These early steps help learners feel comfortable with the instrument and understand how melodies and rhythms work together.
As students improve, lessons include scales, chords, and longer musical pieces. I explain how rhythm, tempo, and dynamics influence musical expression. Students also learn how to read sheet music more confidently and understand patterns within compositions. Practice strategies are discussed so learners know how to improve gradually between lessons.
Learning piano requires patience and steady practice. I encourage students to focus on small improvements and celebrate progress. Over time, learners develop stronger finger control and better musical awareness. My goal is to help students feel confident at the piano while building lasting musical skills.
