About Ross
In 2012 I completed a practice-based PhD in Musical Composition at the University of Aberdeen.
I have taught music composition, music technology, and orchestration at the University of Aberdeen and Edinburgh College.
I've released several albums as a solo artist and in bands. I also write for film, theatre, TV, and contemporary dance.

Lessons can be either 30 minutes or 1 hour.
I tailor lessons to each student's age and ability, whether their goal is to achieve a musical grade (e.g. ABRSM), learn a particular style or method, or just learn a favourite piece of music.
My mantra is "lessons should be fun!"
I have a PhD in Musical Composition from the University of Aberdeen and have been teaching piano, theory, and composition for over 15 years.
