About Kiona

I am very patient, nurturing, and compassionate towards my students. My love for music and working with people shows through my teaching. I’ve been studying music since the age of 5 and made a committment to instill that same passion and desire in my students.

About the lesson

When you take lessons from me, you’ll be amazed at how quickly you’ll learn basic piano technique and how to read music. Once you’ve mastered the basics of reading music, you’ll be able to apply those skills to learning your favorite songs!

I had the pleasure of getting connected virtually with Kiona four years ago through my son's music teacher. Our school was shuttered during the pandemic and he loved music so we started him with virtual piano lessons. He looks forward to his virtual lessons as she gives him an opportunity to learn but also embrace the joy of playing to his own tune. He gets both theory and practice and she has been very flexible with scheduling his virtual lessons since we have returned to our normal (hectic) schedule. We were thrilled to finally meet her in person after four years of virtual lessons when we passed through Raleigh this summer. Highly recommend!
