About Vera
My journey in music began with a deep interest in piano and musical expression. I completed a Diploma in Music Performance, where I developed strong technical and theoretical knowledge. Over the past 7 years, I have worked with students of different ages and skill levels, helping them build a strong foundation in piano and develop confidence in their abilities. Teaching allows me to share my passion for music and guide students in a structured and supportive way.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adjust my approach based on their needs and pace. I focus on building strong basics, improving technique, and making lessons enjoyable at the same time. I also create a comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated and confident to practice and improve.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano and exploring different musical styles to enhance my skills. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging. Teaching piano is meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and creativity. Helping them enjoy music, improve their skills, and express themselves through their playing is something I truly value, and I remain committed to supporting their long-term musical journey.

My piano lessons are designed to make learning music simple, structured, and enjoyable for every student. I guide learners through essential areas such as hand positioning, note reading, rhythm, scales, and basic compositions using clear step-by-step instruction. I focus on helping students understand music concepts instead of just memorizing pieces. Each lesson includes guided practice, repetition techniques, and personalized feedback that help students improve gradually and build confidence in their playing ability.
Lessons are carefully planned based on the student’s level and pace of learning. Beginners start with basic notes, rhythm exercises, and simple songs to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners focus on improving coordination, technique, and playing more complex pieces with better accuracy. Advanced students work on musical expression, performance skills, and interpretation of different styles. I provide regular practice guidance, corrections, and revision sessions to ensure steady progress and continuous improvement.
Learning piano also helps students develop concentration, discipline, and creativity. As they begin to play independently and understand musical patterns, they gain confidence and enjoyment in the learning process. Many students find piano relaxing and rewarding as they improve. My goal is to make piano learning engaging, meaningful, and fulfilling. I want students to feel confident in playing, understanding music deeply, and expressing themselves through their performance, whether for personal enjoyment or long-term musical growth.
