About Reina
My passion for piano began with an early fascination with its expressive capabilities and tonal richness. I pursued a B.Mus in Piano Performance and an M.Mus in Music Education to refine both my playing and teaching skills. Over 10 years, I have guided students of all levels, fostering technical development, expressive artistry, and performance confidence.
I employ a patient, flexible, and inspiring teaching approach, tailored to each student’s needs. Lessons combine structured exercises, repertoire work, sight-reading, and creative exploration, emphasizing both skill-building and musical enjoyment. My aim is to help learners develop not only technical proficiency but also artistic expression.
Outside of teaching, I remain active in performance, ensemble work, and musical study. Watching students grow from tentative beginners into confident, expressive pianists is immensely rewarding. Supporting learners to discover their musical voice and enjoy the process is central to my work.

Piano lessons become meaningful when students combine technical skill with expressive musicality. My sessions focus on finger independence, sight-reading, rhythm precision, scales, repertoire interpretation, and duet playing. I create a positive and encouraging environment, helping learners build confidence, creativity, and musical understanding while making learning enjoyable.
Beginners start with posture, hand coordination, simple melodies, and foundational technique, establishing a solid base. Intermediate learners focus on scales, dynamics, phrasing, sight-reading, and ensemble playing, gradually increasing technical and expressive ability. Advanced learners refine complex repertoire, performance preparation, interpretation, and stage presence with individualized guidance. Each session integrates structured practice, exercises, and creative exploration to ensure steady and meaningful growth.
Piano lessons foster more than musical skill—they develop discipline, self-expression, and emotional connection to music. Students often feel pride and joy as they master challenging pieces, improvise, or perform for others. Over time, learners cultivate technical mastery, expressive depth, and artistic confidence. My goal is to help each student enjoy music fully while achieving both skill and personal fulfillment.
