About Claire
"Holding a Bachelor of Music from the Royal College of Music does not mean I prioritise theory over the actual feeling of the keys. I have taught 62 students over the past 5 years while focusing heavily on POSTURE AND HAND POSITION.
My teaching centres on refining SCALES AND ARPEGGIOS alongside DYNAMICS AND EXPRESSION. I find that steady, intentional practice beats raw talent every single time. My methodology helps students grasp MUSIC THEORY while improving their SIGHT PLAYING abilities. Helping you achieve your musical goals is truly the best part of my work."

"The faint sound of the damper pedal lifting signals that we are ready to begin our focus. You will start with 9 minutes of structured warm-ups to map out your goals for the hour. We will break down complex pieces into manageable sections. My Bachelor of Music from the Royal College of Music ensures you learn proper technique.
I offer a free trial lesson to map out goals for new students. Feedback is direct and frequent throughout our time together. We address your posture to prevent fatigue during long practice sessions."
