About Kai
As a seasoned piano tutor with over 13 years of experience, I bring a passion for music and a dedication to nurturing each student's unique musical journey. My teaching philosophy is rooted in creating a supportive environment where students of all ages can explore jazz, classical, and pop genres. I believe in tailoring lessons to individual interests and learning styles, ensuring each student progresses confidently and joyfully.
Outside of teaching, music remains central to my life. I actively engage in performing jazz piano at local venues, where I continue to refine my skills and stay connected to the vibrant music community. This firsthand experience enriches my teaching, offering students insights into performance techniques and the artistry behind the music they learn.
Beyond music, I enjoy exploring other creative outlets and connecting with nature through hiking and photography. These hobbies not only recharge my creativity but also inspire me to bring a holistic approach to teaching, encouraging students to find joy and expression in music as part of a balanced lifestyle.
