About Ophelia
My love for piano began through a fascination with melody, harmony, and the ability of music to tell stories. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music followed by a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance Studies. During my 7 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of different ages and learning levels.
I believe every learner deserves a supportive environment where they feel encouraged to grow. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence while helping students understand musical concepts clearly. I enjoy creating lessons that balance structure with creativity.
Outside teaching, I spend time studying piano repertoire, attending concerts, and exploring new educational ideas. These experiences help me bring fresh inspiration into every lesson. Helping students discover their musical strengths remains one of the most enjoyable parts of my profession.

My piano lessons are designed to help students enjoy music while building strong and reliable skills. We focus on note recognition, rhythm development, finger coordination, hand independence, sight reading, and listening awareness through structured exercises and engaging pieces. Every lesson encourages steady improvement and a deeper understanding of music.
As students continue progressing, we explore chord patterns, accompaniment techniques, phrasing, dynamic control, pedal application, repertoire building, and performance preparation. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and musical interests so learners can develop in a meaningful and enjoyable way. Regular support helps students strengthen both confidence and musicianship.
I believe piano learning should be inspiring, creative, and rewarding. My goal is to help students become independent musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through music. Every lesson promotes artistic growth, discipline, and long-term success.
