About Delora
My hands recall the hum of the piano keys in the Berklee practice rooms. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a Piano minor.
Years spent performing on tour allowed me to refine my ear. Now I teach students to master scales, arpeggios, and pedaling technique.
Music theory and rhythm and timing are the backbone of my instruction. I help players fix their posture and hand position for better control. Sight playing and sight reading become much less daunting with practice. It is quite rewarding to see a student finally grasp a difficult chord voicing.

Piano students often struggle to connect their theory knowledge to actual physical expression. A diagnostic playing assessment happens before we set a learning plan. This ensures we address your specific needs from the start. I have taught 485 students over the last 5 years of my career.
We evaluate your progress using 8.0 benchmarks during our work together. My goal is to make sure your technique supports your artistic vision. I hope to see you in the audition room soon.
