About Jessica
I have been giving piano and music theory lessons for 2 years teaching all ages from beginners to intermediate level. I have Grade 8 ABRSM, a music degree and a PGCE in music teaching.
Classically trained myself, I have found that playing piano is not just a hobby, it becomes a work of craftsmanship that is soothing, fun and the perfect way to express yourself. Yes the first steps are always the hardest but once you learn the basics, confidence and motivation starts to grow.

I am very flexible in adapting my teaching methods to fit the customers' needs. My lessons are done at your pace stress free so there is no pressure to achieve a certain level in a small amount of time. In these lessons, we will look at a range of genres including classical to pop, different techniques and topics with lots of activities to keep it energised and motivational.
I have over 2 years of experience teaching GCSE Music so I can also provide additional help with composition writing, preparing you for performances and working through exam past papers in terms of what the examiners are specifically looking for in your answers.
