About Naomi
I am a student studying sociology and Spanish. I have played piano for 13 years, given piano lessons to kids and adults, performed accompaniments, and competed in competitions. I have taken up through music theory II in college before changing majors but love music and am still taking music courses. I am happy to help with any basic theory and teach you how to read music!

My teaching method is based on communication and discussion with the student. I usually start by asking what students observe about music generally, and then we slowly build on different concepts such as note values, reading a staff, and dynamics. I like to use flashcards and make learning as fun as possible!
