Super tutor

Felix is one of the best tutors in Piano. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Felix

I am a pianist and saxophonist with a degree in music education and jazz piano from the University of Osnabrück in Germany and already have over 10 years of experience in jazz, rock, pop, musical theatre and classical music.

Besides a musical background in my family, I grew up with a lot of music around me and was on stage as a musician from an early age. This has given me experience as a live musician from an early age. Later on, and especially during the high school and university years, I played in many different bands and combos and was often on stage or playing as a solo pianist. At that time we were on the road a lot throughout Germany and had regular performances at all kinds of events.
Last spring I emigrated to Sweden and now I also work part-time as a piano teacher at a cultural school in a small municipality near Malmö.

I have not only a great interest but a great passion for music and love to arouse interest in music in people of all ages.

About the lesson

We are all different and everyone has different abilities. Therefore, I always adapt my lessons individually and flexibly to my students and we start at the level you are at right now. Besides reading music, we will also focus on playing by chord and by ear, improvisation, but above all on expressing what music is really about: emotions.

Besides technique, theory and understanding the harmonies, the interpretation of the specific piece is also important. We will therefore not just play something, but in a certain way make the piece your own. In this process, of course, you also get to choose which pieces we play.

Regardless of age or level, you are welcome to contact me and I look forward to the first lesson with you!

Felix's response

/Julia 9år
