I’ve always had a passion for the sciences, and tutoring gives me the opportunity to share that enthusiasm with others. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a concept finally click in a student’s mind - it’s deeply fulfilling to know I’ve helped someone along their learning journey. I enjoy supporting students in building their confidence, developing a stronger understanding of the subject, and realising they’re capable of more than they initially believed. Hi, I'm Ethan - I'm a Natural Sciences student currently studying Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, with over four years of tutoring experience working with students at a variety of academic levels. I tutor GCSE and A-Level students in Maths and Science, offering online lessons via Google Meet. My sessions are 1 hour long and tailored to each student's individual needs, with a strong focus on exam preparation by closely following the relevant specification. I use a digital whiteboard to draw and annotate in real time, allowing students to listen and engage visually as we discuss key concepts. In science, I create memorable techniques and analogies to help students retain key content, while in maths I focus on strengthening core understanding and developing problem-solving skills. Lessons typically begin with a warm-up or review, followed by structured explanations, practice, and regular opportunities for questions and consolidation. I adapt my teaching pace and style to suit each student, whether they need help catching up, staying on track, or pushing for top grades.
