About Arrianna
I am a PhD student with experience in building confidence, strengthening study skills, and improving academic performance in a way that is clear, structured, and realistic.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I also provide support in areas related to mental health, counseling, stress management, and emotional well-being. My work is grounded in helping people feel more stable, supported, and capable in both academic and personal areas of life.
Alongside academic and clinical support, I also help people prepare for interviews and build strong career skills. This includes communication practice, professional presentation, and developing resumes and CVs that clearly reflect their strengths and experience.
My approach is built on professionalism, confidence, and leadership. I focus on helping people feel prepared, capable, and more in control of their academic and career goals, especially when things feel overwhelming. My decision to teach comes from real experience working closely with people in high-pressure environments.
Through deployments with the American Red Cross during major disasters, I saw how important clear communication, structure, and steady support are when people are trying to move forward in difficult situations. That experience shaped how I work with others today. I teach because I believe people do better when they are supported in a clear and practical way, not just told what to do, but shown how to do it step by step until they feel confident doing it on their own.

My teaching style is structured but approachable, with a strong focus on helping students actually understand material rather than memorizing it. I break concepts down step by step and adjust how I teach based on each student’s needs, pace, and learning style. Sessions are interactive and practical. I explain ideas in a simple, clear way, use real examples, and guide students through practice so they can apply what they are learning in real time.
The goal is to make difficult material feel more manageable and to build confidence as we go. A typical lesson begins with a brief check-in to identify what the student is currently working on or finding challenging. From there, we move step by step through the topic, working through examples together and applying concepts in practice. Each session ends with feedback and clear takeaways so the student knows exactly what to focus on next.
What sets my approach apart is that I focus on long-term skill building, not just completing assignments. I help students develop stronger study habits, improve organization, think more clearly in their writing, and build the confidence to work independently over time.
These lessons are designed for high school students, undergraduates, and graduate students who want steady academic support, clearer understanding of their coursework, and practical strategies to improve both performance and confidence in school.
