About Tara
I am a PhD student specializing in organic chemistry, where I focus on developing new potential antibacterial drugs. I love chemistry because you can break down complex problems into fun, manageable concepts and make new discoveries! Outside the lab, you’ll find me enjoying bike rides or kayaking. On rainy days, I cozy up with my favorite comfort shows.

Chemistry is all about practice and figuring out problems! In my sessions, we will work together step by step to sort out problems. From experience, what really helps is drawing out the key concepts and understanding them through analogies. I also enjoy creating fun games to better understand tough concepts. In fact, I have even made my own chemistry card game! I would be happy to tutor high school to undergraduate levels.
