About Lauren
With over 20 years experience in the musical field I have completed all graded examinations in piano and classical accordion, received a first class degree in my BA Honours Applied Music where I specialised in solo performance. Recently, I completed my PhD in musicology at Dublin City University and Dundalk Institute of Technology where I focused on the process of music institutionalisation and the development of graded music exams from the 18th century to the present day.

I aim to help each individual find their passion and excel through great technique, music theory and general musicianship skills while keeping lessons fun and relaxed. I have a long history of music excellence in preparing my students for graded examinations, secondary education music exams and undergraduate auditions.
