About Lakshmi
I am currently a PhD researcher in Earth Sciences in Australia, with a strong academic background in geology. I have completed my BSc and MSc in Geology and have several years of academic and teaching experience.
Before starting my PhD, I worked as a lecturer and mentor for students for over 4–5 years, supporting them in geology, environmental science, and academic skill development. This experience helped me develop a strong ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and structured way.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in science and develop a clear understanding of Earth processes. I also enjoy supporting students not only in their subjects but in broader academic skills such as scientific writing, assignments, and career preparation.
My goal is to make learning less stressful and more meaningful by connecting theory with real-world applications, especially in geology and environmental science.

Hi! I am a PhD researcher in Earth Sciences specializing in carbon sequestration, enhanced rock weathering, and isotope geochemistry. Alongside my academic background in geology and environmental science, I also help students build strong academic and career foundations.
I offer support not only in Earth Science and geology tutoring, but also in practical academic and professional skills such as CV writing, academic CV structuring, internship/job application preparation, and scientific report writing.
My approach focuses on helping students understand how to present themselves effectively for both academic and industry pathways. Whether it is improving subject understanding, writing clear scientific reports, or creating a professional CV that stands out, I provide structured and practical guidance.
I work with school students, university students, and early-career individuals who want to improve both their academic performance and career readiness.
