About Annie
I started learning Mandarin Chinese at university at the age of 18, so I know the particular challenges facing an adult learner of the language. I lived in China for three years, teaching English and working as a translator. With more than ten years experience in teaching and translation, I can explain both grammatical and cultural elements of Chinese in a familiar and easy to grasp way, and guide you through some concepts that we don't have in English--like tones!
