About Isis

I am a University of Edinburgh graduate and have worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the UNSW School of Chemistry for the past two years. I have extensive experience teaching Chemistry, Biology, and Math to both HSC and undergraduate students. My teaching background includes tutoring undergraduate students at the University of Edinburgh, working with prestigious tutoring firms such as Pembroke Tutors, and supporting many students through private tutoring. With strong academic results and advanced training in Chemistry, I understand where students commonly struggle and how to explain complex concepts in clear, approachable ways. I have helped many students strengthen their understanding, improve exam performance, and build confidence in problem-solving. Parents value my professional and reliable approach, while students appreciate lessons that are structured, engaging, and easy to follow. I bring strong academic expertise, patience, and genuine enthusiasm to every lesson.

About the lesson

My tutoring style is completely student-focused. I take the time to understand what you want to learn, how you learn best, and how the material will be assessed. Lessons are tailored to your syllabus and exam requirements, with a clear focus on building confidence and understanding.

Sessions usually run for 1–2 hours and are suitable for HSC and undergraduate students in Chemistry, Biology, and Maths.

I hold a PhD and Master’s in Medicinal Chemistry and have over six years’ experience tutoring undergraduate Chemistry and Biology, as well as two years tutoring HSC Maths. I aim to make lessons clear, supportive, and engaging, no matter your starting point.
