About Abilehita
Who am I?
Well, I'm a first-class pharmacy student at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. I love teaching almost as much as I love learning. I like the idea of passing knowledge to others and the sense of fulfillment it brings afterwards.
I have been a tutor in my class' study group. I expounded on topics taught in class to my fellow course mates and answered any question brought to me. I also have experience explaining science (especially chemistry) to my younger brother, who just finished secondary school.
I love a curious mind and would love to pass on the knowledge I've gathered so far.

About the lesson

When it comes to teaching, especially something as complicated as science, I believe in using common terms, ideas and objects to explain. For example, the affairs of life can be used to explain atoms. Just as people crave perfection, atoms desire to attain the perfect octet configuration. They do this by losing and gaining electrons. With this method, I believe students will find it easier to remember complex concepts and phenomena.
I also believe reasons should be given for why things are the way they are, instead of expecting students to cram everything. Understanding the concept is much easier than cramming.
