About Suma

I am a Science educator with a Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and a strong passion for teaching and simplifying scientific concepts for young learners.

Although I am at the beginning of my formal tutoring journey, I bring strong subject knowledge in Science and Biology along with the ability to explain complex ideas in a very simple and easy-to-understand way.

My focus is on helping students build strong foundational knowledge rather than memorizing information. I believe that when students understand the “why” behind concepts, they become more confident and interested in learning.

I enjoy working with young learners from Grades 1 to 6 and aim to create a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

Outside tutoring, I also run an educational platform where I share simplified learning content, which reflects my passion for making education accessible and engaging.

My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine understanding and curiosity for Science.

I use a simple, concept-based and student-friendly teaching approach designed specifically for young learners in Grades 1 to 6.

My goal is not just to help students memorize facts, but to ensure they truly understand scientific concepts in an easy and enjoyable way.

Teaching Methodology and Techniques:

I break down complex Science and Biology topics into very simple explanations using real-life examples that children can relate to. I focus on building strong foundational knowledge by encouraging curiosity and interactive learning rather than rote memorization.

I also adapt my teaching style based on the student’s learning pace. If a student finds a topic difficult, I revisit it using different explanations, visual examples, and step-by-step guidance until they are comfortable.

Quick revision of previous concepts
Introduction of the new topic using simple explanations
Real-life examples and discussions
Short practice questions or interactive Q&A
A quick recap at the end to reinforce learning

Homework help is also provided when needed to strengthen understanding.

With a strong academic background in M.Pharmacy, I bring in-depth scientific knowledge while keeping explanations extremely simple for young learners. I focus on making Science enjoyable rather than stressful, helping students build confidence in the subject.
