About Peyton
Hello! My name is Peyton, and I have been playing the flute for over 10 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Music Specialist Studies from the University of Western Australia, and I am currently studying towards my Bachelor of Music: Honours. I am an experienced teacher, working both in schools and privately.
I have performed regularly across Perth with the WA Youth Orchestra, UWA Symphony Orchestra, WA Opera, Perth Orchestra Project, WACO, and St. George's College Chamber Orchestra. I am also active as a Music Administrator with various arts organisations and schools across Perth.

Flute lessons for beginners to advanced students. Whether you want to learn for fun, to work towards auditions or exams, or extension work on top of your school classes, we can work together to adapt the lesson to suit your goals! All tuition will include practical tuition on the flute, as well as development of music theory and aural skills. I use a Kodaly based approach, and prioritise aural understanding and recognition in my lessons.
I am available for lessons at your home in the Perth Metro area, as well as online lessons if COVID restrictions are in place. I hold a Working with Children Check, a National Police Clearance and a First Aid qualification.
