About Carter
As a Singing tutor with 12 years of experience, I have guided many students towards becoming skilled and confident singers. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals, helping them improve their vocal abilities while building a deeper appreciation for music.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and continuous growth. I understand that every student has unique strengths and challenges, so I adapt my methods to meet individual needs. This personalised approach helps students progress comfortably and effectively.
My classes cover breath control, pitch training, rhythm development, vocal flexibility, tone quality, diction, and stage presence. I use practical demonstrations, song interpretation, and performance-based learning to help students apply their skills confidently.
In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Performance, Song Interpretation, and Music Appreciation. These subjects provide students with a complete musical education and strengthen their overall performance abilities. I also encourage creativity and self-expression.
My mission is to create a welcoming environment where students feel confident exploring their abilities. I am committed to helping learners achieve their goals and enjoy the lifelong benefits of music.

My Singing teaching methodology combines flexibility, creativity, understanding, and strong time management to help students become confident and expressive performers. I believe that learning to sing should be inspiring, enjoyable, and tailored to the individual learner.
I start by understanding the student's goals, interests, and current abilities. This allows me to create customised lessons that encourage progress while keeping students motivated and engaged.
Creativity is woven into every lesson through vocal exercises, song interpretation, listening activities, and performance-based learning. These activities help students develop technical skills while exploring their artistic potential.
My lessons focus on breathing techniques, pitch development, rhythm control, articulation, vocal tone, emotional expression, and stage presence. Students learn practical techniques that improve their overall vocal performance.
Understanding and encouragement are at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
Time management helps ensure that every lesson is balanced and efficient. Sessions include vocal warm-ups, skill development, song work, and performance coaching.
Alongside Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Care, and Music Appreciation. My objective is to help students grow into confident and skilled musicians.
